Career Advancement Unit
The Career Advancement Unit (Unit Kemajuan Kerjaya - UKK) is responsible for planning, managing, and implementing activities related to the career advancement of academic and non-academic staff. This includes preparing the Annual Manpower Budget (ABM) for promotions, handling promotion matters, as well as placement and job rotation for non-academic staff.
The Career Advancement Unit was established on 1st February 2019 (previously known as Promotion Unit), and the detail responsibilities are listed as follows:

- Plan, manage and execute the promotion of Special Premier Positions (VK7/6/5)
- Plan, manage and execute the promotion of academic staff
- Plan, manage and execute the promotion of non-academic staff
- Relocation / Reshufflement of non- academic staff
- Reappointment / termination of contract staff including
- Provide and coordinate Operating Budget (ABM) Estimation for career advancement and contract staff.
- Reappointment / termination of Post-Doctoral Researcher
