Service Management Unit

The Service Management Unit (Unit Pengurusan Perkhidmatan - UPP) is responsible for managing matters related to services such as leave management, service verification, staff performance management, staff asset ownership and declaration, termination of service/resignation, temporary/permanent transfers and loans, retirement affairs, and other matters related to staff service affairs.

The services Management Section of the Human Resource Management Division, UNIMAS and the detail responsibilities are listed as follows:
  1. Planning, control, monitoring and execution of human resources-related policies
  2. Streamlining rationalization of civil services
  3. Confirmation in services
  4. Property declaration-related matters (declaration, assessment, and endorsement)
  5. Annual performance appraisals
  6. Leave-related matters (services, medical, unrecorded and etc.)
  7. Secondment of staff (temporary or permanent basis)
  8. Issuance of statements (services record and leaves record)
  9. Pension-related matters (Pension or EPF option, registration, contribution, and withdrawal)
  10. Retirement and its benefit-related matters (joining of past services, optional retirement, compulsory retirement, due to death, and other types of retirement)
  11. Ending of services (reappointment to a new service scheme, resignation, and termination of permanent staff)
  12. Monitoring of contract signatories (study leave agreement, government scholarships agreement, and auxiliary police agreement)
  13. Staff disciplinary matters (absenteeism, tardiness and impropriety of conduct)
  14. Claims of telecommunication device purchase
  15. Secretariat to Human Resources Committee
